Agapanthus Productions was founded by Rachel Pownall to explore the boundaries of creative storytelling in theatre, film and audio. Rachel's vision is to develop Agapanthus into an inclusive space where professionals work alongside members of the community to co-design creative projects to be enjoyed by a wide audience.
Rachel is a writer and creative practitioner working across theatre, installations, film and audio. Her background is in documentary filmmaking, scriptwriting and theatre but she has spent the last three years working with creative technologists. She is a resident at Bath Spa University's Innovation and Enterprise Hub, The Studio in Bath, and is collaborating with other residents to bring creative technologies like soft robotics, binaural sound and augmented reality (AR) into her work with Agapanthus. |
