The 2026 immersive audio version of Ghost Orchid was written by Rachel Pownall and directed by Liz Felton with sound design by Jan Meinema.
About the play: Ghost Orchid is an immersive shared, binaural audio play. Set in a close-knit rural community, Ghost Orchid explores the way trauma echoes across the generations of a farming family. It examines the themes of belonging and loyalty, and the fragility and resilience of nature. It was performed at Burdall's Yard as part of Bath Digital Festival 2026 and was a Bath Spa University Immersive Audio Network production in Association with Agapanthus Productions.
